Saturday mornings at the Los Gatos Library.
We meet weekly during the school year in the library's Teen Section. Your first visit is free and casual. Come see what a math circle feels like.

How a session runs.
Two hours of warm-ups, group problem solving, and student-led share-outs. Groups run in parallel, so everyone works at the right level.
| Time | Activity | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 10:00 – 10:15 | Warm-up | A short, playful puzzle to get everyone talking. |
| 10:15 – 11:15 | Problem set | Small groups work a themed set: combinatorics, geometry, number theory. |
| 11:15 – 11:45 | Share-out | Students present solutions and compare approaches at the board. |
| 11:45 – 12:00 | To take home | One harder problem to think about during the week. |
Three groups, running in parallel.
Explorers
New to problem solving? Start here. We build intuition with puzzles, patterns, and games. No contest experience needed.
Challengers
For students ready for AMC-style problems and their first proofs. We bridge classroom math and competition thinking.
Olympians
Advanced problem solving and team preparation for the AIME and ARML. Bring your hardest questions.
Just show up, or say hello first.
Visiting is free and easy. Drop in to any Saturday session, or send a short note so we can save you a seat and place you in the right group.
